Dr. Shereen Ibrahim is a highly experienced and internationally trained obstetrician and gynaecologist. Her career spans over two decades across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the United Kingdom, combining deep clinical expertise with a strong commitment to patient safety, medical education, and service development.
After earning her medical degree from Cairo University, Dr. Ibrahim completed postgraduate training in Egypt and worked extensively in Saudi Arabia. Since joining the NHS in 2018, she has progressed through higher specialty training in the East of England Deanery, awarded her Certificate of Completion of Training in August 2024. Her areas of special interest include, benign gynaecology, ambulatory Gynaecology, minimal access surgery, Laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries), complex surgical procedures including open and laparoscopic hysterectomy and Fibroid care.
She is an active researcher and presenter, with national and international presentations at RCOG and ESGE conferences and several publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Ibrahim is currently a consultant in Lister hospital, bringing a rich blend of international clinical experience, leadership, academic and dedication to improving women’s healthcare.
