Dr. Milan Anjanappa is a consultant clinical oncologist at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in London. He gained his primary medical qualification in India. He worked as a clinical fellow at the Christie hospital prior to joining Mount Vernon. He is a full time NHS consultant working in the Uro-oncology group since 2021.
Dr. Anjanappa believes in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary approach. He works with a fantastic team of surgeons, expert radiologists, and oncology colleagues to offer evidence-based treatment. He supports patients in a shared decision-making process and places equal emphasis on both outcomes and quality-of-life.
As a clinical oncologist, Dr.Anjanappa offers a comprehensive cancer management, including radiotherapy and systemic anti-cancer treatment (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormonal therapy). His specialist expertise lies in management of prostate cancer. He offers IGRT, SABR/SBRT, seed brachytherapy and high dose rate brachytherapy. Additionally, Dr.Anjanappa also treats bladder cancers and offers bladder preservation treatments with radiotherapy.
Dr. Anjanappa participates in research studies and actively enrols patients to national and international clinical trials. He has given talks at various national societies and has presented papers in conferences.
