Mr Bacon has ten years’ experience as a consultant, most recently working at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, before joining East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust in 2022.
He is an expert cataract and glaucoma surgeon, performing cataract surgery with monofocal, toric and premium multifocal Intraocular lenses.
He also performs YAG LASER capsulotomy and is an expert in the complete management of glaucoma with the following modalities:
– Medication
– Selective LASER trabeculoplasty
– YAG LASER iridotomy
– Preserflo glaucoma surgery
– Conventional glaucoma drainage device surgery
